'Conference Improved' Patio Pear Tree • Roots Plants

This patio tree is a Wonder Tree and if you think that sounds amazing, that's because it is. The Wonder Tree is grown in an innovative way, grafted high on the plant to ensure a straight trunk and compact overall height.
'Conference Improved' is a fabulous variety to get the Wonder Tree treatment; it's a heritage, award-winning cultivar whose rich, honeyed fruits are delicious both when eaten fresh and used in the kitchen.
Growing to an ultimate height of under two metres, this tree is perfect for growing in a pot on a patio, balcony or terrace. With fabulous spring blossoms, lush foliage and, of course, sumptuous fruits, what's not to like?
If you can stop yourself eating them fresh from the tree, then these pears will work wonderfully in a piping-hot crumble, poached in Marsala wine or in an elegant tarte tatin.
