Hydrangea macrophylla 'Blue Ballad' • Roots Plants

When people think of ballads, they think of Adele, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, but we think of this superb hydrangea from the hydrangea Music Collection.
Compact in nature and abundant in its flowering, 'Blue Ballad' looks beautiful both as a feature plant in a pot, or as part of a shrubby ensemble in your beds.
This bigleaf variety is a mophead hydrangea, called as such thanks to its big, globular blooms in rich blue hues. Blooms that'll poke your eye out if you're not careful; talk about showy!
Hardy enough to withstand British winters, 'Blue Ballad' is a low-maintenance, easygoing shrub that'll reward you with many years of loyal service in the garden.
One of the highlights of this plant is how good its flowers are for cutting and arranging. Pair with eucalyptus branches for the ultimate classy bouquet.
