Handwoven by artisans in Gitarama, Rwanda, this basket planter pairs natural, coiled raffia with a bold band of black geometric detail near the base—simple, graphic, and effortlessly elevated. Sweetgrass at the core lends the weave its structure and a subtle, fragrant sweetness that lingers over time.

Sized to hold a favorite plant, corral small essentials on a desk, or bring warmth and texture to an empty shelf. Each one is made by hand, so slight variations in weave and pattern are part of its character—no two are exactly alike.

By choosing one, you’re not only bringing beauty into your space, but also supporting fair-trade practices and empowering women in rural Rwanda.
