K-Pump: A Compact Hand Pump for River Inflatables

The K-Pump is a compact hand pump designed for topping off rafts, catarafts, inflatable kayaks, and other river inflatables without a loose external hose to manage. Choose the K-Pump 100 for more air per stroke and faster inflation, or the K-Pump Mini when packed size and weight matter most.

Both models are designed for one-person operation, fit a wide range of common inflatable-boat valves with the included adapters, float if dropped in the water, and are made in the USA.

Features & Valve Compatibility

No External Hose

The pump connects directly at the nozzle end, eliminating a separate inflation hose that can kink, pull loose, or take up additional space in your repair and inflation kit.

Common Inflatable-Boat Valves

The nozzle and included adapters are designed to work with many common inflatable-boat valves, including Leafield, Halkey-Roberts, Summit, Boston, and AD-2 styles.

Built-In Cache Cap

The Cache Cap provides a small waterproof storage space inside the pump shaft. It gives you a convenient place to keep pump adapters, keys, or other small items such as compact first-aid or field-repair essentials.

Compact Enough to Carry

K-Pumps are designed to take up relatively little room in a boat or gear load, making them useful as a primary pump for smaller inflatables or as a top-off and backup pump for larger boats.

They Float

Both the K-Pump 100 and K-Pump Mini are designed to float if they end up in the water.

K-Pump 100 vs. K-Pump Mini

K-Pump 100

Choose the K-Pump 100 when you want more air per stroke and faster inflation while keeping the pump compact enough for river use and storage.

  • Weight: 2 lbs
  • Diameter: 3"
  • Length: 22"

K-Pump Mini

Choose the Mini when saving space and weight is more important than maximizing air volume per stroke.

  • Weight: 1 lb
  • Diameter: 3"
  • Length: 15"
Is the K-Pump Right for Me?

The K-Pump is a strong choice if you:

  • Need a compact manual top-off pump
  • Want a pump that can stay in your river gear
  • Don't want to manage a separate inflation hose
  • Need broad valve compatibility
  • Want a manual backup that doesn't require electricity
  • Inflate river tubes or inflatable kayaks

For a large raft that starts completely deflated, a higher-volume barrel pump or electric blower can reduce inflation time. A K-Pump can still be useful for topping off and as a compact manual backup.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a K-Pump best used for?

It is especially useful as a compact top-off pump for rafts and catarafts and as an inflation pump for smaller inflatables such as inflatable kayaks and river tubes.

Which model should I choose?

Choose the K-Pump 100 for more air per stroke and faster inflation. Choose the Mini when minimum size and weight are the priority.

Can it fully inflate an inflatable kayak?

Yes. K-Pump lists inflatable kayaks and river tubes among the products these pumps can fully inflate.

Can I use it on a full-size raft?

It can be used with compatible raft valves and is particularly useful for topping off. For inflating a large raft completely from empty, a higher-volume pump can reduce the amount of pumping required.

Does it use a hose?

No external hose is required. The pump connects at the nozzle end.

What valves does it fit?

The nozzle and included adapters are listed for Leafield, Halkey-Roberts, Summit, Boston, and AD-2 style valves.

What is the Cache Cap?

It is a small waterproof storage compartment inside the pump shaft for adapters and other small items.

Will the K-Pump float?

Yes. Both models are designed to float.

Where is it made?

The K-Pump is made in the USA.

What warranty does it have?

It is backed by an unlimited two-year warranty.
