The Roamwild PestOff Bird Seed Catcher catches spilled seed before it hits the ground, so there is no mess under the feeder, no seed sprouting in the lawn and no free meal for squirrels, rats or large birds. It fits under any hanging bird feeder and mounts on trees, posts or walls. $34.99 with free US shipping.

How it works

Birds shovel seed while they feed, especially from mixed seed. The flower-shaped catcher sits below the feeder and collects what drops. Its design keeps rodents and large birds off the caught seed, and dropped seed that would otherwise rot on the ground is kept away from the birds, which helps limit the spread of disease at the feeding area.
