Redfish Pier Rig

Piers, breakwaters, and jetties, are mini reefs and a source of food and shelter as far as fish are concerned. You're going to need some strong tackle as fighting a big fish and potentially lifting its full weight at a pier will not be possible with light tackle. We build these pier rigs for this purpose.

Black nickel finish barrel snap swivels and ball bearing swivels help ensure line twist remains a thing of the past! Durable, strong crimps.

Redfish is the common name for several species of fish which is also known as red drum. Red drum is a game fish you can find in the Gulf of Mexico from Florida to northern Mexico. Redfish are a usually a shallow water fish. They inhabit areas with bridges, marshes, mangroves, rivers, oyster bars, grass flats, open sounds, brackish creeks, and backwater flats.
