Replace your Strike Shadow’s controller with the correct Fardriver unit for your bike. Available for the 48V, 60V, and 72V models from Strike Cycles, these controllers have voltage-specific ratings. The 48V and 60V versions are labeled for 80A line current and 260A phase current, while the 72V version is rated for 100A line current and 300A phase current.
Those two current figures describe different sides of the controller: line current relates to the battery supply, while phase current relates to the motor output. A 300A phase rating does not mean a 300A draw from the battery. Match your replacement to your bike’s electrical setup, including voltage, current requirements, and connections.
Manufacturer label notice: Opening the controller housing voids the warranty.
Compare your existing controller label and wiring connections before ordering, especially if your bike has been modified.
Looking to get more out of your Strike Shadow? Before choosing a higher-voltage or higher-current controller, make sure your motor is compatible with the planned setup and select a battery with the correct voltage and discharge capability. The battery’s BMS, wiring, and connectors also need to support the controller’s demands. A higher-voltage controller alone does not convert your bike to a higher-voltage system.
