Scotia Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Developed at the Kentville, NS Research Station in the late 1950s, just a short drive east of our farm, this early-maturing heirloom is perfect for short-season gardens. Determinate plants produce a generous yield of 2” round, red fruits with a slight green shoulder, blemish-free and disease-resistant. Reliable and flavourful, Scotia tomatoes are ideal for processing or making traditional Maritime Green Chow (green tomato relish).

Determinate growth.

60–65 days to maturity from transplant.

25 seeds per packet.

Planting Instructions: Start seeds indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost. Sow seeds ¼ inch deep in warm soil. Transplant seedlings into 1‑inch cells or 2 inch pots at the 1–2 leaf stage.
