So-Cal's Movements remain on a steady upward trajectory, their fourth album Happier Now builds on the tension-and-release sound they've perfected on their previous releases. Once again produced by Grammy-winner Will Yip, Happier Now holds fast to Movements' dissonant grooves, while incorporating melodic flourishes in the mix as heard in "Dissolve Me" and the moody "Back in My Ways."
