These belts are handmade in Sheffield, England, using retired British climbing rope and a double D-ring buckle. The creative folks at Scavenger remove the cores (which they then use for other purposes) and press the sheaths flat. They fold a single length of rope over and then use a zigzag stitch to double the width.

These are an inch wide and, in most cases, the length is 8" longer than the largest stated waist size, but that can vary by an inch or two. (e.g. A medium, which is listed as 34" to 38", is around 46" in total length.) The open end of each belt is cut and heat-sealed. Not sure about the size? Order a large and you can cut and fuse the end yourself.

Looking for something a bit wider? Check out the Triple Climbing Rope Belt.

IMPORTANT: Belts cannot be returned after they have been cut-to-size.
