Frequently Asked Questions

How does the colour change work?

ChromaPot uses a heat-reactive glaze that responds to temperature. When hot water or tea is poured in, the ceramic changes colour — and returns to its original appearance as it cools. No batteries, no tricks, just chemistry.

Is it safe to use with boiling water?

Yes. ChromaPot is made from food-safe ceramic and is designed to handle boiling water safely. The heat-reactive glaze is non-toxic and fully food safe.

How do I clean it?

Hand washing is recommended to preserve the glaze. Avoid abrasive scrubbers or dishwashers, as these can affect the heat-reactive coating over time.

Will the colour change fade over time?

With proper care (hand washing, no abrasives), the heat-reactive effect should remain vivid for a long time. Avoid soaking in water for extended periods.

How long does shipping take?

Standard delivery takes 7–10 business days on average. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order is dispatched.

Does it come gift-ready?

ChromaPot is packaged beautifully and makes a wonderful gift. If you'd like a personalised gift note included, just mention it in your order notes at checkout.

What if it arrives damaged?

Email us at sales@barenio.com with a photo within 7 days of delivery and we'll send a replacement or issue a full refund — no questions asked.
