This handsome pair of bookmarks feature the classic art of Mr. Darcy and Ms. Elizabeth Bennet. Lizzy is reading letters from Jane while seated at the desk and Mr. Darcy is looking on towards here in the doorway of the room.

Part of our Jane Austen bookmark collection, each of these bookmarks is made out of hand selected leather and engraved some of the original illustrations for her book series. This series can be bought as part of the Jane Austen bundle.

Each bookmark is made in house from hand selected veggie tanned cow leather. The back is unfinished leather with the grain from the leather visible. See the photos above to see what that looks like. 

This is a historical bookmark, meaning the illustration is adapted from a book that is over 100 years old. By adapting old and largely forgotten art it gives the work new life to be appreciated once more for years to come.
