This handsome pair of bookmarks feature the classic art of Mr. Darcy and Ms. Elizabeth Bennet. Lizzy is reading letters from Jane while seated at the desk and Mr. Darcy is looking on towards here in the doorway of the room. His confession quote is engraved onto the bookmark itself. "In vain have I struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you."

Each bookmark is made in house from hand selected veggie tanned cow leather. The back is unfinished leather with the grain from the leather visible. See the photos above to see what that looks like. 

This is a historical bookmark, meaning the illustration is adapted from a book that is over 100 years old. By adapting old and largely forgotten art it gives the work new life to be appreciated once more for years to come.
