The Cobalt Edition of the Current Playing Cards by Missing New York are one of the coolest animated playing cards released this year!
Inspired by Nikola Tesla's early experiments the deck features the iconic crackling visuals of high voltage electricity bolts created by the Tesla coil.
The ultimate deck for Cardistry!
Why you'll love this deck
- Animation built into the design. The logo animates as you flip or fan the deck. The electric-blue theme is meant to evoke arcing current.
- A handling-focused build. The 300gsm German black core stock gives a firm, durable card with no see-through, and the linen finish adds grip for flourishes and cuts.
- A glossy varnish over the linen texture. Cards feel textured but still glide, so they suit both cardistry and everyday shuffling.
- Collectible Cobalt colorway. It's a strong pick for anyone who collects Missing decks or Tesla-themed art.
Who is it for?
Current Playing Cards Cobalt suits cardists looking for a flourish-friendly deck, collectors of limited-run or designer playing cards, and fans of science and history who want a Tesla-inspired gift. Pair it with other Missing decks to build out a collection.
