Malus domestica 'Golden Delicious'

Golden Delicious apple is a classic yellow apple known for its mellow sweetness and gentle, honey‑like flavor. Its thin, tender skin ranges from light green to warm golden yellow, sometimes with a soft pink blush, and encloses pale, juicy flesh that is crisp yet pleasantly tender. This variety is excellent for fresh snacking, salads, and lunch boxes, and it also shines in the kitchen for pies, crisps, sauces, and baking where its natural sweetness lets you use less added sugar. Golden Delicious apples are slow to brown once cut, making them a practical choice for fruit platters and make‑ahead recipes.
