Prunus persica var. nectarina 'Red Gold'

The Red Gold Nectarine is a commonly cultivated, freestone variety known for its large size, yellow color, and firm, juicy flesh with a striking red blush. Its stunning pink blossoms in the spring add aesthetic value to any orchard. It has gained commercial success due to its resistance to cracking, slow softening, high yield, and long storage and transportation capabilities. The firm flesh and deep red skin contribute to its delectable flavor. Optimal production requires thorough thinning.
