Mahonia aquifolium

Tall, sometimes leggy, Tall Oregon Grape is a fantastic edition to any landscape. Early blooming with spires of cheerful flowers, Oregon Grape is an essential food source for early spring pollinators such as Mason Bees and Bumblebees. The dusky blue berries that follow in the summer are tart and edible, best juiced and used to make jellies and wines.
