Finished entirely in gold leaf, the pitted surface continues into the interior, and the irregular placement of the sprigs keeps the silhouette lively and naturalistic. A felted bottom protects the surface below. Sized for keys, rings, or other small things on a vanity, console, or entry table, the Olive Bowl turns a practical catchall into a small sculpture.
