What is the BinkyBunny Willow Bowl?

The BinkyBunny Willow Bowl is a small dish woven from 100% natural willow. We carry it as third-party enrichment for rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters, and similarly sized small pets. Fill it with a little hay or a few dry treats for foraging, or leave it empty as a chew-and-toss toy.

Can rabbits chew the willow bowl?

Yes. Natural willow is intended for nibbling and tossing. Supervise early sessions and remove the bowl if strands fray into long strings, edges splinter, pieces become small enough to swallow whole, or any part smells musty.

Expect a firmer feel than soft hay—that texture is for chewing, not bedding. This bowl supports chewing time and foraging. It does not replace unlimited grass hay, which should still make up most of the daily diet.

How do I use it?

Place the bowl in the habitat with a small hay handful or a couple of appropriate dry treats. Many pets empty the dish and then chew the rim—that still counts as enrichment.

Rotate with other textures—like a sea grass bowl or apple chew sticks—so interest stays fresh.

Care and when to replace

Wipe dry crumbs with a cloth or soft brush. Avoid soaking the bowl—wet willow can soften or turn musty. If it gets damp, air-dry it fully before returning it to the habitat.

Replace the bowl once strands fray into long strings, edges splinter, soft spots appear, pieces get small enough to swallow whole, or it smells musty. One bowl at a time is enough for most pets.
