The Puzzle Feeder™ Wave is a 9.8-inch modular slow feeder dog bowl that slows eating by up to 15x. Three detachable parts (the bowl, the "Broken Wave" slowing insert and a spinning bone plate) combine into 4 progressive feeding modes, so you can start easy and raise the challenge as your dog learns.
Why dog owners choose the Wave
- Up to 15x slower than a regular bowl – the Broken Wave ridges and spinning bone plate turn one big gulp into many small bites.
- 4 feeding modes from 3 detachable parts – mix and match the parts, from an easy open bowl to the full 15x setup.
- Fits all breeds and nose lengths – the 9.8-inch bowl works for small, medium and large dogs.
- Made with plant-based materials – designed for safe, everyday feeding.
- Top-rack dishwasher safe – pull the parts apart and clean each one.
- Expandable – swap in the Licking Mat Insert or Sniffing Mat Insert for new challenges.

FAQ
Is the Wave bowl good for large dogs?
Yes. The 9.8-inch bowl is designed for all breeds. For small and medium dogs, see the Puzzle Feeder™ Junior.
Can I use wet food?
Yes. The Wave works with kibble, wet and raw food. For spreadable foods like yogurt or peanut butter, add the Licking Mat Insert to turn it into a lick bowl.
What if my dog gets frustrated?
Start with an easier mode and add a few high-value treats on top. Add the slowing insert and bone plate once your dog understands the game.
How do I clean it?
Separate the three parts and place them on the top rack of the dishwasher, or wash by hand with warm soapy water.
