Skipper is a 4-ply 100% un-mercerized cotton yarn, made of Peruvian Tanguis cotton, a long staple cotton that is both soft and very strong, resistant to wrinkling and pilling. It's perfect for all your summer projects, from tops and wraps to baby things, and it's machine washable.

Tanguis cotton was developed to be more resistant to cotton wilt, and as a result is more environmentally friendly! It requires less water to grow in Peru’s climate; Kelbourne always designs their yarns with sustainability in mind.
