Defined by a rugged, angular profile, the 43mm stainless steel case features brushed facets and polished accents, with a unidirectional timing bezel with a ceramic insert, a sapphire crystal, and a screw-down crown ensuring 200m water resistance. The vibrant yellow dial takes its inspiration from the undulating crests of the ocean, with a wave pattern accented by applied hour markers and a bold handset, all featuring luminescent material for unrivaled legibility in all conditions. A date window is positioned at 3 o’clock, while the red-tipped seconds hand sweeps smoothly around the dial thanks to Bulova’s proprietary Precisionist movement, a revolutionary 8-jewel quartz mechanism vibrating at a remarkable 262kHz and accurate to seconds per year with increased resistance to temperature changes. Paired with a durable silicone strap with a pin buckle closure, this men’s Bulova timepiece is equipped to handle everything from the office to the ocean.

What Makes Precisionist Movement Special?

Bulova's proprietary Precisionist movement sets a new standard for timekeeping, with unprecedented accuracy and innovation that resulted in the most advanced quartz technology in watchmaking history. Impressive in both design and functionality, this unmatched movement features a continuously sweeping second hand. It is thermo-compensated to make it more resistant to external temperature changes, leading to accuracy three times greater than traditional quartz movements.

Precisionist movement also employs a unique three-pronged torsional resonator that vibrates at an astonishing 262Hz, achieving an incredible accuracy of seconds per year—in comparison to most quartz movements, which use a two-pronged regulating mechanism vibrating at 32Hz and deliver an accuracy of 15 seconds or more per month. At the pinnacle of modern watchmaking technology, Bulova’s Precisionist high-performance movements deliver unequaled high-precision accuracy.
