After completing their transformations, the butterfly's instinct to migrate overcomes all others and the creatures move regardless of the obstacles or conditions. Instead of remaining static, the butterfly risks a journey that commonly results in death, and follows the birds south every Autumn and back up North in the Spring. This commitment to forward movement ensures the next generation is given the same the opportunity to evolve.
