Functionalist Chess is shaped by purpose alone. Stripped of ornament and reduced to decisive square forms, each piece is designed with clarity and intent. In black and natural matte wood, the material speaks honestly. Nothing is added without reason — every move follows necessity. Part of The Legacy Collection, Functionalist Chess unites design heritage with the strategy of chess. Each edition draws from defining movements in art and architecture, transforming ideas into sculptural play. A collectible series where form meets history, and the game becomes an enduring expression of cultural legacy.
