This original 1980 poster was created by René Gruau for Dior's Eau Sauvage perfume campaign. Gruau's long association with Dior produced some of the most memorable images in fashion advertising, with his bold brushwork and carefully judged colour giving the brand a distinctive visual identity.
Christian Dior founded his fashion house in Paris in 1946, unveiling the collection that became known as the New Look the following year. Perfume was part of his vision from the beginning, with Miss Dior launched alongside that first collection. Created by Edmond Roudnitska in 1966, Eau Sauvage became the house's first fragrance for men, bringing a fresh, elegant character to Dior's world of scent.
Framed posters come with a timeless made to measure custom frame available in black, white, natural oak or walnut colour. Each frame is made from high quality solid oak and the artwork is available to be framed with or without a surrounding white mount to make the poster stand out even more. Our frames are custom built to order in our UK workshop, and so we work to 7-14 working days lead time for dispatch. Please note that due to their custom nature, frames are non-refundable with the exception of if they are damaged or incorrect. The frame size is the size of the poster plus an additional 70mm on each side if including a mount.
Unframed posters are securely packed in a reinforced cardboard tube. We aim to dispatch within 2 working days, although this may be slightly longer during busy periods. Framed orders are made to measure and can take up to 14 working days to dispatch, packed in a reinforced cardboard box.
Unframed posters ship free worldwide. UK delivery is free on framed orders too. International framed shipping is £155 for standard shipments, or £285 for shipments over 30lb. See our shipping and delivery information.
