Loose palo santo shavings — curly ribbons shaved from the same sustainably harvested Ecuadorian palo santo as our sticks. They're what comes off the wood when the sticks get cut, so nothing goes to waste. Pinch a small pile into a heat-safe bowl, light it, let it flame for a few seconds, then blow it out and let it smolder.
