Since Premier Edge grip socks grip to your footwear they must be worn with direct contact to the shoe. Use of a traditional sock over or under the Premier Edge sock will create a point of slippage and reduce effectiveness. Footballers (soccer) cut the foot off of their game socks to create a sleeve. The sleeve is then used to overlap the Premier Edge sock allowing the anti-skid technology to perform effectively while still wearing team issued game sock.
