FAQs
Can the Vertx Gamut Sling insert stop rifle rounds?
This lightweight ballistic insert is designed for Level IIIA / HG2 protection against common handgun threats, not rifle rounds.
Is the Vertx Gamut Sling Insert compatible with most backpacks?
The Vertx Gamut insert is 11" wide and 18" tall and will fit in many large bookbags. To ensure the panel will fit, measure the largest internal compartment of your bag.
What is the lifespan of the Vertx Gamut Sling Insert?
This bulletproof panel is both flexible, water resistant (due to the ripstop covering), and durable (due to the Cordura outer wrap), making it a long-lasting concealable insert. While the warranty covers the product for 5 years, carrying it in a backpack will prolong the lifespan a great deal.
