KMC X11 Chain
Universal 11-speed chain for road and MTB — nickel-plated outer links, heat-treated pins, and revised chamfering optimised for 1x drivetrains.
The KMC X11 is a proven 11-speed chain compatible with Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo road and MTB groupsets. The two-tone nickel/black finish — nickel-plated outer links, black inner links — gives it a distinctive look while the nickel plating adds corrosion resistance. X-SP heat-treated pins extend wear life, and the revised Double X Bridge chamfering is optimised for cleaner, faster shifts on 1x drivetrains. OEM spec on the Tern Verge X11.
Highlights
Universal 11-speed compatibility
Works with all Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo 11-speed road and MTB groupsets — one chain covers a wide range of builds and makes stocking straightforward.
Optimised for 1x drivetrains
Revised chamfering on the Double X Bridge inner plates improves chain pickup and release on single-chainring setups — cleaner shifts under load and less chain drop on rough terrain.
X-SP heat-treated pins
KMC's X-SP process hardens the pin surface for improved wear resistance — extending chain life and helping maintain shifting precision over a longer service interval.
Nickel/Black two-tone finish
Nickel-plated outer links resist corrosion and reduce friction against the chainring and cassette teeth. The black inner links add a clean visual contrast. Mushroom-riveted pins for secure assembly.
