Verge X11
The top of the Verge lineup — hand-built Kinetix Pro X wheels, carbon crankset, and a 24"–102" gear range in a bike that folds in 10 seconds.
The Verge X11 is Tern's flagship performance folding bike — built for riders who want a fast, capable 451mm road bike that folds and goes wherever they do. The hand-built Kinetix Pro X Disc wheels use paired-spoke technology with custom-forged bladed Sapim spokes and a 20-hole lacing pattern for exceptional stiffness and low weight. A SRAM Force 1 carbon crankset, SRAM GX 1×11 drivetrain with a wide 10–42T cassette, and Shimano Deore hydraulic disc brakes round out a spec sheet that punches well above its price. T-Tuned geometry, OCL+ frame joint, and a Syntace VRO adjustable stem make it as comfortable as it is quick. Folds in 10 seconds, fits anywhere.
Highlights
Hand-built Kinetix Pro X Disc wheels
Custom-built 451mm wheels with paired-spoke technology, custom-forged bladed Sapim spokes, and a 20-hole lacing pattern. The front weighs just 600g, rear 720g — exceptional stiffness-to-weight for a folding bike at any price.
SRAM Force 1 carbon crankset — 52T
Carbon fiber construction saves weight without sacrificing stiffness. The 52T chainring pairs with the wide 10–42T cassette for a 24"–102" gear range — enough for steep climbs and open-road sprints alike.
SRAM GX 1×11 — 24"–102" range
The SRAM GX trigger shifter and X1 rear derailleur with a 10–42T cassette deliver an impressively wide 1×11 gear range. No front derailleur, no cramp — just clean, decisive shifts across 11 speeds.
Shimano Deore hydraulic disc brakes
Hydraulic disc front and rear — consistent, powerful stopping in all conditions. A significant upgrade over mechanical discs or rim brakes, especially in wet weather.
Folds in 10 seconds — 38×80×74 cm
OCL+ frame joint, Magnetix 2.0 magnetic fold clasp, and a compact 38×80×74 cm folded footprint. Fits in most car boots, train luggage racks, and office corners — without sacrificing any ride performance.
Syntace VRO adjustable stem
The Syntace VRO stem adjusts reach and rise to dial in the cockpit without swapping parts. Combined with the Tern T-Tuned geometry, it accommodates riders from 142 to 190 cm without a tool change.
Pedals not included
The X11 ships without pedals — allowing riders to choose flat, clipless, or folding pedals to match their preference. Factor in the cost of pedals when budgeting.
