Love and foxgloves have a lot in common. Both are gorgeous from a distance, both go straight for the heart, and both come with a small warning label nobody ever reads.

A foxglove can mend a heart or bring the whole conversation to a very firm end, depending on how you handle it. Oddly relatable. So here I am, standing in the middle of them in my softest sweater, admiring them from exactly the right distance and falling for them anyway.

Nobody said love had to be harmless.

Painted in watercolour and gouache, soft and a little unpredictable, which seemed only fair given the company.

Painted by Charlotte Hilleke, the artist behind the Danish atelier Form Faktory.
