What You Get
One two ounce, wide mouthed container with a lid for every color SEK Surebond offers in Perm Chips.

- Wide mouth with a screw lid so you can pour a little out, compare it, and close it back up.
- The same material that is in the bag. Straight from a factory sealed bag, not a lookalike.
- Labeled by color name so you can order the full bag by the exact name without second guessing.
The Colors in This Pack
| Saturn Tan | The warm option, a light tan chip. Available in 50 lb bags. |
| Stormy Gray | The mid grey chip in the range. Available in 50 lb bags. |
| Eclipse Black | The darkest of the three. Available in 50 lb bags. |
Why Order a Sample First
Jointing material almost never looks like the photo. Printed color charts and screen images shift, and joint material changes tone again once it is compacted, watered in and cured. Seeing the dry granules next to your actual pavers is the only reliable way to choose.
- Screens lie. Two monitors will show the same gray two different ways.
- It darkens when it sets. Most colors cure a shade deeper than the loose granules.
- Your paver color drives the choice. A gray that disappears on charcoal pavers can look stark on tan.
- A wrong pallet is expensive. A sample is cheaper than re-doing a driveway.
About SEK Surebond Perm Chips Permeable Paver Joint Aggregate
Perm Chips is a permeable paver joint aggregate rather than a polymeric sand. It is a chip, not a fine granule, so the texture and the way it reads in a wide joint is quite different from jointing sand. Seeing the actual chips against your pavers matters more here than with a fine sand, because the individual pieces are large enough to see.
| Product type | Permeable paver joint aggregate |
| Form | Chip, not a fine granule |
| Bag size | 50 lb |
| Colors offered | Saturn Tan, Stormy Gray and Eclipse Black |
| Sample size | 2 oz per color |
How to Compare
- Lay a paver outside in daylight. Indoor light will mislead you every time.
- Pour a small line of each color into the joint area you are matching.
- Mist it lightly with water. That is much closer to the cured color than dry granules.
- Look at it again in the shade and at the end of the day. Joints read differently as light changes.
Made and Packed by Polymeric Sand Store
This sample pack is our own. Polymeric Sand Store buys SEK Surebond Perm Chips Permeable Paver Joint Aggregate by the bag and fills these two ounce containers here in New Jersey, which is why the vendor on this listing is Polymeric Sand Store rather than SEK Surebond. The material inside is genuine SEK Surebond product. SEK Surebond does not package a color sample kit, so we built one.
