After busting my branch test on a 250 wall, I came back and decided to fine-tune the Branch Template. I asked my good friend Jose Macedo to help me with the fine-tuning. With his 46 years of welding experience, we believe we've created the best template and list of advice to help you go from marking to welding with less grinding.

LAY IT OUT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.

Fit-up is where the weld is won or lost. Wrap it, mark it, cut it, and set a 12" branch saddle that sits tight on the header. No burning daylight grinding, eyeballing, and re-fitting.

• 250 Wall: for .250" wall pipe
• 375 Wall: for .375" wall pipe
• Bundle (250 + 375 Wall): get both templates and save. Ready for whatever wall the job throws at you.

Make sure your template matches the pipe you're running. A 375 template on 250 pipe (or the other way around) won't give you the fit you're after. Not sure what the next job calls for? Grab the bundle.
