A woman's health and her hormones are intricately linked. Changes in mood, energy level, libido, fatigue, menstrual flow, abdominal pain, weight gain, osteoporosis, etc., often arise from changes in the body's hormone levels.

Many doctors prescribe Premarin (conjugated estrogens) or Provera (synthetic progestin) to help alleviate the symptoms. However, estrogen replacement has been linked with cancer of the uterus and breast; Provera has more than 30 negative side effects.

Instead, symptoms from PMS to Menopause to Osteoporosis can be relieved safely and easily by natural progesterone! There are no side-effects and no cancer scare. Dr. John R. Lee states in his book What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Menopause that menopause and other symptoms of unbalanced hormones such as hot flashes, vaginal dryness, and mood swings are peculiar to Western industrialized cultures. He believes that diet, lifestyle, and environmental pollutants play havoc with the delicate hormone balance, causing a progesterone deficiency and the resulting symptoms.

How much progesterone is in the cream?

Angel Care cream is manufactured in small batches and a sample of each batch is tested by ZRT Laboratory in Oregon. This test gives us the amount of progesterone content per ounce. It is usually between 600-700 mg. per ounce.

What does the cream come in?

The cream comes in a two-ounce jar, which is about a month's supply for most needs.

Where do you apply the cream?

The cream is best absorbed through thin skin. Any thin-skinned area is a good application site. Your neck, breasts, inner thighs, inner arms, hands, chest, abdomen and bottom of feet are all good sites. Angel Care cream is to be applied twice a day for best results, so you will want to rotate your sites. For example, if you apply the cream to your neck in the morning, apply your second dose to a different area at night before you go to bed.

Do many people have success while using the cream?

Angel Care has received many verbal and written testimonies from women who have had great success while using the product.

To whom this may concern:

I am a 41 year old female, and have been experiencing PMS symptoms, bloating, weight gain, mood swings, and heavy bleedings to the point of anemia. I have fallen asleep driving and almost been killed due to anemia and chronic fatigue.
I was placed on estrogen which made the bleeding worse, then I was placed on Provera which also didn't work. I was told I would need a hysterectomy, which I didn't want. I also developed a painful case of fibrocystic breast disease.
I attended a seminar by Dr. John R. Lee in November, 1995, and began using Angel Care Progesterone Cream. I am happy to say that I no longer have any of the above symptoms. My fibrocystic breast disease has cleared up , my anemia has almost gotten back to normal, and I no longer need to have a hysterectomy.
I thank Angel Care Cream for changing my life.

Sincerely,
Lydia Alexander

Testimonial of a Formerly Skeptical Health-Care Provider

I have been a Physician Assistant for nearly twenty years, diagnosing and treating women and men with a variety of problems, mainly in dermatology, women's reproductive health, stroke and heart attack prevention and general medicine. I have always been frustrated that estrogen seemed to be one of the few ways we had to deal with osteoporosis and reducing the risk of heart attack in post-menopausal women. There are so many side effects and dangers in using estrogen, and the synthetic forms of progestins seemed equally dangerous. I know many women who can't take estrogen or Provera, and I knew I could never take it myself due to my personal health problems. There are many skin problems that just don't respond to current medical therapy. I knew this because I have a few of those recalcitrant skin problems myself. There just never has been an answer for many of these problems with conventional medical wisdom.
When I heard Dr. John Lee's lecture about natural progesterone cream in November 1995, everything he said made perfect sense and gave me the answers to so many questions I have had about the problems I mentioned above. Being a skeptic, I had to go to a medical library and look up the studies, check out books on menopause, PMS, osteoporosis, etc., test my hormone levels with the saliva test and try the cream for myself.
Well, Angel Care cream has vastly exceeded my expectations. In 3 months my periods have gone to 3 days with no cramps or heavy bleeding, my severe fibrocystic breast disease is GONE, my endometriosis symptoms have disappeared. In addition, my asthma has vastly improved and my skin problems are almost non-existent now. I had acne rosacea and atopic eczema but these are now a thing of the the past. By the way, scars, facial wrinkles, and stretch marks are fading away.
Did I mention I have boundless energy and haven't even caught a cold in the last few months? Every woman I know that has used this cream has had similar results. I know a man who is using the cream and he is now growing hair on his head (where it should be). My facial hairs have nearly disappeared.
Angel Care cream isn't the only cream I used but it is by far the BEST. It's the only one that isn't too greasy for my face, and it never irritates my sensitive skin. It's also the only one with a money-back guarantee, but I know I will never need to use it because the Angel Care people test each batch for quality control. Angel Care cream has truly changed my life.

Sincerely,
Deborah Shelander, B.S., M.Ed.

Can you use the cream while pregnant?

There is no need to apply the cream during your pregnancy since the body increases manufacture of progesterone during that time. However, since opinons vary about the use of various products during pregancy, be sure to consult your personal healthcare provider if you have any questions.

Can the cream be used to help in becoming pregnant?

If using the cream while trying to become pregnant, be sure to use the cream only after ovulation each month. Track your ovulation by taking your temperature each morning before you get out of bed. A slight rise in body temperature signals ovulation. Once this has happened, you can continue using the cream. If you believe you are pregnant, you may want to discontinue to use the cream since the body naturally increases progesterone during pregnancy (See question above). If you have any doubts or questions, be sure to consult Dr. John R. Lee's books and/or website on the subject, or ask your own healthcare provider.

Can you use the cream while taking birth control pills?

Natural progesterone is not a birth control product, but according to Dr. John R. Lee it can suppress ovulation if used prior to ovulation time. It can enhance conception if used starting on the first day of ovulation. But, again Dr. Lee recommends that you can use the cream while taking birth control pills only 7 days prior to your menstrual period. You may get some relief from your PMS. However, the best results seem to be obtained by women who are not on the pill.

Should the cream be used while bleeding?

It is not recommended. Anytime the cream is being used, you should not be bleeding. It is important that you use the cream as instructed. The times that you are not using the cream are important in that, this allows your body to rest. If the cream is being used everyday, the body's receptor sites can become weak. This makes your body unable to feel the effects of the cream. There have been reports of incidental spotting which may be associated with natural progesterone use; however, this is usually temporary. Any persistent spotting or breakthrough bleeding should always be checked by a physician. Because some PMS and Menopausal symptoms may indicate other conditions, please be sure to consult a health care provider if you ever experience headaches or progressive symptoms while using the Angel Care. Although there have been no reports of significant side effects or health problems associated with natural progesterone, if you have any doubts or questions we encourage you to find a trusted health care provider to work with you. Natural progesterone crem can potentially increase thyroid activity. If you are taking thyroid supplements, you should consult your health care provider to possibly consider lowering the amount of thyroid supplementation. How long does it take to see results?

This depends on the individual. While it can take anywhere from two weeks to three months for best results, some women see results within the first week. Dosage requirements may vary per individual. According to Dr. John R. Lee, noted authority on the subject, the therapeutic range of progesterone cream is between 20 mg. per day and 400 mg. per day, depending on the individual. A woman typically produces 20-30 mg. of progesterone per day in her ovaries during the luteal phase of her cycle. During pregnancy, the production of progesterone by the body is taken over by the placenta. A woman in her third trimester of pregnancy produces up to 400 mg. of progesterone per day. For regular use when not pregnant, you may increase or decrease the dosage as you may feel necessary, sometimes even applying a small amount of cream on a separate skin receptor site to alleviate your symptoms (e.g. apply 1/4 tsp directly to the cramping area for possible immediate relief). Angel Care Cream should begin to work in about 20 minutes after application and lasts in the body for about 8 hours, thus twice-a-day applications are required. Be sure to follow recommended dosages and application times as per the instructions for your particular issue of need. Please consult your health care provider or Dr. John R. Lee's books/website if you have any questions.

Can men use Natural Progesterone?

If a young man under 45 uses very much, it can cause his testicles to shrink and his libido (sex drive) to decrease. However, older men, 45 and up can use natural progesterone daily and it will cause the libido to increase. Most men 45 or younger have adequate testosterone; however, studies show a reduction in testosterone levels for men at age 45. Since progesterone is a precursor of testosterone, men can safely use progesterone. The benefits to men are increased libido (sex drive), a sense of well being, decreased depression, prevention of prostate cancer and prevention and treatment of osteoporosis.

What are some other uses of the Angel Care Natural Progesterone Cream?

For vaginal dryness, apply part of your dosage of cream. For migraines, headaches or night sweats, use a dab of cream every 15 minutes for an hour. For additional relief from PMS symptoms if they get worse during the week before your period, you may increase the dosage by applying 1/4 tsp. of cream in the middle of the day directly to the area of cramping or discomfort. However, you should discontinue this added dosage, as well as all applications, of the cream on day 26 of your cycle in order to allow your body to rest. If you begin to bleed before day 26 of your cycle, stop the cream and start the cycle all over again. You should get regulated within 3-6 months. For menopause symptoms, it is sometimes impossible to use the cream with precision as you go through menopause because your body is trying to stop your period altogether. Continue to use the cream with as much precision as is possible, according to directions, until your period subsides. As always, if you have any problems or questions, please consult Dr. John R. Lee's books/website, or ask your own health care provider.
