Add a unique woodland touch to your bioactive terrarium with NewCal Golden Mushrooms. These natural decorative mushrooms create a realistic forest-floor appearance while providing functional benefits for bioactive enclosures.
In humid environments, the mushrooms gradually break down over time, becoming a natural food source for isopods, springtails, and other clean-up crew organisms. As they decompose, they help support nutrient cycling and contribute to a healthy, thriving bioactive ecosystem.
Golden Mushrooms can also be secured to cork bark, branches, or terrarium backgrounds using aquarium-safe adhesive to create natural-looking mushroom ledges and climbing features for small reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates.
Because each mushroom is naturally sourced, every piece is unique in shape, colour, and size, giving your enclosure an authentic woodland appearance.
