What is hand scissoring?

It’s a grooming technique that brings balance to the pet. Rather than simply using clipper blades, hand scissoring is a way to finish the groom so that the pet is merely going to look better. Just as you expect your hair stylist will bring balance for the right style for you that same technique is what we use in hand scissoring.

You might think this technique is the only one used on show dogs. Of course, show dogs are hand scissored—but a stylist doesn’t have to do show grooming to be able to use this technique.
