This beautiful wood money chest is made to order from sturdy solid wood and is a beautiful lasting keepsake for years to come.
DETAILS:
*Chests are stained a color of your choice (see sample photo)
*Each one is hand painted with calligraphy on top and small caps below. Painted in white, black, silver or gold permanent paint.
*The handles, clasp, and hinges are all made of metal.
*Chest can come with or without a small slot in the lid for money to be put through.
*Chest can be non lockable or locking. The locking hasp includes a lock and key in a style of your choice (see photo samples). The locking hasp is larger (the first photo shows a decorative- non locking hasp)
PERSONALIZATION:
Boxes can be blank or personalized. If personalized the top line is done in calligraphy and the bottom in small capital serif (up to 15 characters MAX per line to ensure it fits.

Approx. Size. This listing is for our smallest sized chest. Find our larger sizes in our shop!
OUTSIDE : 7.75 x 5.75 x 6
INSIDE: 6 7/8" x 5 1/8" x 3 1/4" (up to the top of the bottom portion of the box- domed lid, when closed goes up additional 2 1/8" in center)
*Small is NOT recommended for cards. ONLY a 3" slot can be put in this size (for money)
This size is TOO SMALL for cards. We recommend it for things like money, jewelry, index cards and other small keepsakes.

PLEASE NOTE ABOUT OUR BOXES: This box is made from natural wood and does have points where the joints are glued together to ensure it's sturdiness and ability to last. There may be some spots inside where the stain doesn't "stick" as well due to glue. Each box will vary slightly in color, texture, grain pattern and natural blemishes such as knots, etc. as it's made from natural wood. Please also keep in mind that the final product is HAND painted, not made with stickers/vinyl or stencils, so the lettering may vary slightly (in things such as line thickness, curls, etc) from the digital sample. Chests are stained after their built. Some colors may leave a "wash" of stain on the hardware (grey and whitewash) other colors may leave some stain in creases. Whitewash is a WASH of white stain. NOT a bright white paint!
