The wind sensor detects awning movements caused by wind gusts between 18 - 24 mph. As vibrations are detected by the sensor, it automatically sends a retract command to your PERGOLUX Awning's motor when safety thresholds are reached. This means you don't have to rush home when the weather turns — the awning protects itself.

2-minute installation — no drilling, no electrician: The sensor is attached behind the awning's front aluminum profile using the included 3M adhesive tape and paired with the motor via wireless remote. No wiring, no tools needed.
