The Story

Inspired by the iconic tropical shirt of the French Riviera, favored by legendary actors and artists in the jet setting 1960's.

We've reinterpreted this go-to shirt with an eye toward modern quality and Crémieux's timeless French design. Hand cut, hand-sewn and hand-ironed in Italy with 350 separate cut-and-sew operations, this shirt is truly a work of art: constructed from the highest quality Italian cotton knit fabric, with elegant mother of pearl buttons made from Australian choice #1 oyster shell. The calling card is its innovative one-piece collar design, engineered to keep the collar standing up in the perfect position without adding any artificial stiffness or support.

Crafted in a soft Italian cotton pique in an array of colors perfectly suited to the most stylish warm weather environs, this shirt offers the ultimate in construction, hand feel and comfort. Cut in a trim fit, this versatile shirt can be worn untucked by day for that bit of casual cool, or neatly tucked in by night underneath our elegant Hopsack Blazer by night: a perfect fit for any occasion.
