This large elegant 1.5 litre water pitcher is painted in the detailed 'Raffaellesco' pattern.

The Raffaellesco pattern was inspired by Raphael’s 16th century frescoes in the Vatican palace. The dragon symbolizes a benevolent sea creature which rescued sailors trapped in a dead calm by blowing on the ship’s sails. Today, it is commonly believed that having a piece of Raffaellesco in your home brings good luck.
