Swirling Stars is all about movement. Repeating English Paper Piecing blocks create a bold rotating effect, with color and contrast doing the work as the stars begin to swirl across the quilt.

Designed to be structured but scrappy, each block pairs two similar-colored fabrics with a contrasting print, giving you plenty of variety while making smart use of your fabric. The cutting plan is intentionally economical too, with each 1/6-yard cut providing enough fabric for two complete blocks.
