The original American Belt Bag began with a simple idea: carry only what you need and make it easy to grab on your way out the door.

Phone. Wallet. Keys. A few everyday essentials. The fixed 1.5-inch straps were designed to carry that minimal kit securely and comfortably around the waist.

But life doesn’t always happen in one carry position.

On a trail run, you want your gear secure against your chest. Around town, a crossbody sling feels more natural. For a quick walk with the dog, you may still prefer the simplicity of a fanny pack.

So we didn’t make the bag bigger. We made it more versatile.

The new Omega configuration replaces the fixed carry setup with removable straps that let the same minimal bag transform from chest rig to crossbody sling to fanny pack.

Most belt bags hang at an angle when worn across the body. That may seem like a small detail—until the zipper is tilted and everything inside has settled into the lowest corner.

The Omega strap geometry keeps the bag level and upright, making the opening more natural to use and the contents easier to see and reach.
