The first appearance of the gadget-laden Aston Martin DB5 was in 'Goldfinger', which premiered over 60 years ago in September 1964. The pocket square was created in collaboration with artist John Lawson. Design, Inspiration & Quality: ‘On a Mission’ is a unique and high-quality full-size silk pocket square Made in England. It has been created in collaboration with British artist John Lawson. His work hangs in collections with some of the world’s most iconic driving machines and his style of painting captures the true essence of these famous cars.

John's original artwork was created in acrylic on canvas and inspired by the 'company car' of the British Secret Service's most famous fictional agent. Thanks to the nature of the paints, John was able to create layers as well as introduce colours and shapes that convey a high-speed chase whilst still depicting the beauty of the car’s design. 

In Macclesfield, the home of English silk printing, the artwork is reproduced with great care. This enables an excellent balance of design colour & clarity between the printed and reverse sides of the AAA quality Mulberry silk twill, ensuring the pocket square looks perfect whichever fold is used. The image is framed by the pocket square’s steel grey border and the skilfully hand-rolled & hand-sewn 'shoestring' hem in maroon. The overall quality of this pocket square from the UK's leading maker is what you would normally expect to find only on London's Savile Row or Jermyn Street.
