We selected our cooling technology after exhaustive field testing of ice, gel, and phase change coolants backed up our 3rd party scientific testing at the University of NY at Buffalo. Only one proved superior and met our demands. That technology is incorporated into every garment we design.

Colder than ice, gel, or other phase change
Longest lasting cool, even when CoolPaks become soft
Lightest technology
Articulated segments allow moveability
100% Non-toxic / Food safe
Reusable

Simple to Activate & Use: Activation is done only once!

Scrunch cells vigorously in a basin of warm water
Let CoolPaks™ soak and continue to absorb water
Dry and lay flat on freezer shelf until frozen
Reuse again and again

How long will Your CoolPaks™ stay cold?

In low-humid environments or when used indoors, you can expect a maximum of four (4) hours before needing to replace your CoolPaks™. Headbands will stay cold approx 2-3 hours, and gloves approx 1.5 hours.

High humidity will reduce cooling duration! Having a second set of CoolPaks™ can extend your cooling experience -- or simply assure that you're covered the next time you need cooling.

When will you need to replace your CoolPaks™?

You can use your CoolPaks™ over and over again, but at some point in time they will need to be replaced. People who depend on cooling only during summer months could enjoy as many as four years with their CoolPaks™. Routine use may require replacing your CoolPaks™ sooner -- particularly if a backup set is not put into rotation.

What does it mean when your CoolPaks™ soften?

As your CoolPaks™ absorb body heat, they will slowly change from solid to pliable. This will not affect their ability to provide cooling during this phase change!

Adaptation is real. It's what happens when you first enter a frigid swimming pool, which eventually "warms up" after time. Well, as we all know, the pool doesn't warm up -- but your body adapts to the new temperature. The easiest way to learn if your CoolPaks™ are still doing their job -- is to place your hand on your skin beneath your vest. If your skin is still cool, your CoolPaks™ are still working.
