This abstract composition features layered fragments of deep charcoal and black paper arranged against a warm beige background. Curated for Keefer House, the piece reflects Asian minimalism influences through its deliberate use of negative space and gestural composition. The torn, angular shapes overlap and intersect, creating depth through their irregular edges and varied textures.

The restrained palette emphasizes materiality over color, with subtle striations and surface variations visible within the dark fragments. Some pieces appear weathered or textured, suggesting aged paper or fabric, while thin linear elements add structural contrast. The composition feels spontaneous yet considered, embodying a quiet abstraction where torn edges and layered washes create visual weight without overwhelming presence.

This print anchors well in modern living rooms or bedrooms where its neutral tones complement natural materials like linen upholstery or wood furniture. The piece works particularly well above a console table or in gallery walls where its architectural geometry can dialogue with other minimal works. Its muted palette makes it suitable for spaces with warm whites, soft grays, or earthy accent colors.
