The Feelings Palette: Emotion Expressions Deck is a set of 30 premium cards designed to advance emotional literacy, self-awareness, and empathy. This limited-edition product combines insightful writing with original illustrations, offering a structured tool for personal and therapeutic reflection.

Product Structure and Content

The deck is built on the psychological understanding that emotional experiences have three distinct components, all detailed on each card:

Subjective Experience: The personal feeling or sensation.
Physiological Responses: The body's physical and biological reaction.
Behavioural Responses: The outward actions or expressions associated with the emotion.

The 30 cards are organised into four distinct Groupings to facilitate learning and targeted exploration:

Cognitive Processes (Yellow, symbolising intellect)
Positive Emotions (Light Green, representing growth and positivity)
Negative Emotions (Dark Red, indicating intensity or internal challenge)
Social Emotions (Light Blue, associated with connection and community).

Origin and Quality

This deck was conceived and designed by me, Michael Hiley, the Lost Geometry founder to serve as a personal tool for deeper reflection on complex emotions, initially for a close circle of friends and family. The unique, original illustrations created by my mother, Susan Hiley.

This is a premium, limited-edition run. The deck is printed locally in Brisbane, Queensland, on high-quality card stock, ensuring both durability and a commitment to local Australian production.
