1100 × 700 Matte Seated Soaking Tub — deep Japanese immersion in a soft matte finish

The 1100 × 700 Matte Seated Soaking Tub is the matte-finish edition of our compact deep-seated bath. It is the same handmade British tub — the same 1000mm of upright, shoulder-deep immersion on a small footprint — finished in a soft, flat, non-reflective matte instead of our hand-polished surface. Colour is built right through the Omnigel, so the matte tone is even, colour-fast and consistent across the whole tub, inside and out. Nothing is painted, wrapped or coated on.

The matte finish

Our hand-polished finish is smooth and light-catching; the matte edition is the opposite — calm, understated and tactile. It is a contemporary surface built for pared-back, natural interiors: microcement, stone, plaster and raw timber. Because the finish is flat rather than glossy, it is forgiving of water spots, fingerprints and everyday marks, and it photographs beautifully in soft, diffuse light. Across the colour range the matte finish deepens darker tones and softens brights for a muted, designer look.

Compact, seated, full-body immersion

Measuring 1100mm long × 700mm wide × 1000mm deep externally, this tub is designed for full immersion while seated. You sit upright to your shoulders in roughly 377 litres of water, with an internal seat to settle into. The vertical, space-saving design gives a genuine deep soak in a footprint small enough for compact bathrooms, en-suites, gyms and garden rooms. Unlike a traditional walk-in seated bath, there is no door and no seal to fail — you simply step in and out.

One tub, many uses

The 1100 × 700 works as a daily soaking bath, a cold-water plunge, an ice bath and a post-training recovery tub. It is equally at home in a family bathroom, a wellness studio, a spa, a sports-recovery facility or a hotel. Fill it hot for a deep evening soak or cold for contrast therapy — the deep, upright shape holds water around the whole body either way. Suitable for indoor and outdoor installation.
