The deep soak that doesn't compromise

Most small tubs save space by taking it from you — shallower water, a sloped inside, less room to sink into. Sheer does the opposite. Where a normal tub has wide flat rims that eat into the well, Sheer runs just three slim 25 mm flanges and a single 100 mm flange at the tap end, on a 25 mm taper — so the inside is absolutely maximised. The walls drop almost vertical over the full 600 mm depth, holding the volume where you sit: an internal opening of 975 × 650 mm and a true 600 mm of immersion on a slim 700 mm-wide base. Slim on the floor, vast inside — the inverse of a space-saving tub, which sacrifices the water; Sheer sacrifices nothing.

Behind the name — Sheer

The name says everything the tub does. Sheer depth — a full 600 mm of uncompromising, shoulder-deep immersion. Sheer sides — near-vertical walls that drop like a cliff face, holding the water around you instead of sloping it away. And sheer simplicity — clean, pure lines, hand-finished by craftspeople in Somerset. It took a real design breakthrough to put this much soak on a 700 mm footprint, and the Sheer name is our shorthand for it: maximum depth, minimum footprint, nothing wasted.

How deep it really is

Where it fits

At just 700 mm wide, the Sheer 1100 is built for the rooms a conventional deep tub won't go: compact family bathrooms, ensuites, loft conversions, period homes and apartments. It passes through standard doorways and sits against a single wall — undermounted, overmounted, inset, part-submerged or freestanding on its feet. With our insulation upgrade it is equally at home outdoors or as a cold plunge.

Finish — Hand-Polished or Matte

Every Omnitub is hand-polished to a deep, reflective finish as standard — a step above a sprayed gloss, with the colour cast right through the Omnigel rather than painted on. Prefer a softer, contemporary look? Choose Matte: a separate hand-finishing process applied after the polished build, giving a fine, low-sheen surface with the colour still cast through the Omnigel. As an additional hand-finishing stage, Matte adds around 5 working days to your build and 25% to the price.

Handmade in Britain. This tub is handmade in our Somerset workshop — made by people, not production lines. The mould is handmade in our own factory, the shell is hand-laid layer by layer in our Omnigel built-up system, and every tub is inspected and signed off by the maker before it leaves. Verified Made in Britain — never imported.
