What Is This Pad?

The Americo Dominator HD Pad is an aggressive floor stripping pad designed to help remove old floor finish and built-up coatings. It gives commercial cleaning teams a way to select a pad for a specific maintenance objective rather than relying on a one-pad-fits-all approach.

Applications and Floor-Care Uses

Typical applications include commercial resilient-floor stripping and floor finish removal when a compatible stripping process is appropriate. The right choice depends on the floor material, existing coating, soil level and the results you need. Always confirm the pad grade is suitable for the surface.

Compatible Machines and Equipment

Use with a low-speed rotary floor machine or compatible stripping equipment with the correct pad driver. Match the pad diameter or rectangular dimensions to the machine’s pad driver or orbital deck. Never operate a pad that does not fit securely or that the equipment manufacturer does not approve.

How to Use and Maintain

Clear loose grit before starting, use an appropriate cleaner or floor-care process when required, and work in manageable sections. Inspect pads during use; rinse or replace loaded pads as appropriate. Follow the floor, chemical and machine manufacturers’ instructions.

Important Surface Considerations

Do not use aggressive stripping pads on delicate, uncoated or incompatible floors. Follow chemical dwell time and pickup instructions; avoid allowing stripping solution to dry.
