This piece came from a memory of wandering—and wondering. I don’t remember the exact place, but I remember the feeling: looking up at something ordinary—maybe a wall, maybe a shadow—and feeling briefly suspended. Like time slowed down just enough for my thoughts to float. I was alone, but not lonely. Just present.

When I started shaping this piece, that moment came back. Not in a literal way, but in how my hands moved—slower, softer, without needing to define anything too clearly. I let it stay a little unresolved, a little open. Because that’s how that memory felt. Like something in between—curious, quiet, full of possibility.

Available by commission—each one made slowly, with care, and a little bit of wonder.
